The Tourist Organization of the Šabac Municipality is a legal successor of the former Tourist Union of the Šabac Municipality. The Tourist Organization has been founded in 1995, but its real work has started in spring 1996. It has numerous and various activities the aim of which is improving the quality of tourism in Sabac. The most important activities are:  

• Preserving, protection and valorization of the tourist values in the municipality and the city itself,
• Initiating and creation of new activities aiming at enhancing the quality of tourism in Šabac,
• Coordination of different stakeholders involved in the tourism development in order to have a unique Šabac tourist product,
• Organization of informative and promotional work,
• Organization of the most significant tourist manifestation at the Municipality level, such as: the Ruze Lipolista Flower Festival, the Jarak-Šabac International Swimming Marathon, Civijada etc.
• Creation, production and distribution of Šabac souvenirs,
• Motivating owners of village households to contribute to development of the rural tourism and other forms of tourism in the Municipality,,
• Cooperation with tourist organization of other cities and municipalities and the Tourist Organization of Serbia,
• Presentation of Sabac's tourism capacities on tourism fairs, exchanges and tourism manifestations in the state and abroad.
